Choc Top Lollipop - Sweet Treats CAL chart

Welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Treats CAL.  -  a c2c blanket made up of squares featuring the designers' favourite treats!

If you haven't seen the CAL so far, you can catch up over on our host's blog post at the stardust gold crochet blog. Click the pink banner below. A BIG thank you to Tasha who has put this whole blog hop together and all the other designers who made this possible.

My chosen treat is a lollipop! I can't really say there was a specific reason I chose it: the idea was fully formed minutes after I heard that Tasha was looking for designers. I was very keen to join in with a bright, pop art-inspired image.

This pattern is a chart only, and the blanket uses the mini c2c technique. However, as a chart, you can get creative and change the technique if you so choose! Keep scrolling for the chart!

If you would like the very detailed written instructions, along with all the other patterns, there is an option to purchase the eBook. Click below to be taken to my affiliate link.

The CAL is sponsored by Wecrochet, and the yarn used is Brava Worsted.

My colours are Rouge, White, Sienna and Marina

The suggested hook size for this project is 5mm, but use whatever size gives you your ideal drape.

And one more thing, if you would like to download a copy of the chart as a PDF, I have added one to my Ravelry Store. Please remember this is a chart only. The chart will remain here in this blog post, so downloading isn't essential, I just wanted to offer the option. Click the pink banner below to be taken to my Ravelry store to download the chart.

For more help and information, and links to the other squares in the CAL, please refer to Stardust crochet's post.

I really hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it!

Happy Crocheting,

Emma

Christmas Quick Makes - Blog Hop

This Blog Hop promotion has now ended, but I'll be keeping the links up to to Fosbas Design's original blog post.

I'm joining in one more Blog Hop for the year - Quick Makes for Christmas

The Blog Hop is hosted by Fosbas Designs and you can find all the info you need in this blog post of hers.

Susanna; from Fosbas, loves to make cute items as gifts for loved ones, and created this blog hop to bring you 40 beautiful Christmas crochet patterns as daily PDF downloads.

Today in the hop - it's my turn - St Niklaas Star

It's a more intermediate pattern - but it's small! The first four rows have a chart included, as this is the big pressure point with colour changes!

The post stitches also create a 'puffiness' which means you can make two and stitch together and not have to worry about looking for stuffing.

They are perfect for individual ornaments, or strung together as a garland.

While you are here - i'd love for you to sign up for my monthly email - you can do that here. Oh yeah - did I mention there's another free pattern to thank you for joining the list!

For more information on the Blog Hop - and to find the next patterns in the journey -  click below to be taken to Fosbas Designs Blog.

Thank you so much for hopping to my blog today, and happy holiday crafting!

Emma.

Free Printable Gift Tags

Something I've wanted to do for ages is make some crochet and craft themed printables and digital products.

A printable is something you can download, and print off at home. My first printable is a set of gift tags, that can be added to any handmade item, pictured below.

The PDF contains a sheet of 10 gift tags, with a punch hole marked so they can be easily threaded onto a ribbon. You can print them on any paper, but a card stock would look great! The back is blank for a personal message. The page set as a A4 document.

The link below will open a new window to the file, where you can preview before downloading, or even print directly

Like what you see?
